Team Playne
Clare leads the team, taking responsibility for strategy, creativity and design. With over 30 years experience, Clare is adept at responding to the most challenging and complex brief, understanding how to build brands and make the most of the creative and technical possibilities of communications, either in print, online or in the physical environment.
Ben’s many years of design experience are rooted in print, having started his professional career working locally in print shops and souvenir design studios. He now leans heavily into design for web and digital application.
Cosima is a versatile conceptual designer with a wealth of experience. She has worked with all kinds of museums, arts and heritage organisations and publishers. She is particularly at home designing for print and exhibitions, but can turn her hand to anything.
Jim works with Clare on the strategic and consultative aspects of projects, bringing a wealth of experience in the creation of brands, narratives and messaging for organisations and businesses. His track record includes public sector, arts and culture, placemaking, regeneration and development initiatives.
Wills career commenced as a journalist and evolved seamlessly across all areas of design; community management, event programming, copywriting, marketing and comms. Will is a accomplished professional musician, improviser, and musical educator.
Jem is a dynamic junior designer driven by a passion for continuous learning and a strong desire to make a meaningful impact. With a solid foundation in design education and a keen eye for detail, Jem has swiftly transitioned into the professional realm.
Our development team embrace a variety of programming languages and frameworks, adapting seamlessly to the demands of diverse projects. Whether optimising code for performance, architecting scalable systems, or troubleshooting intricate issues, they find fulfilment in the intricate dance of logic and creativity.
Rosie plays a crucial role in overseeing various aspects of the company’s financial management to ensure effective budgeting, staged payments, and accurate reporting.
Chief morale officer and four-legged genius, Giallo is a key member of the team. He is a keen advocate of the ‘walk and talk’ meeting, and is always on hand to provide a warm welcome to clients and visitors.
